Patience is definitely a virtue!
PATIENCE IS A HARD TRAIT TO HAVE FOR MOST BUT SOMETHING WE ALL SHOULD BE WORKING ON!
Kids need our patience.
We can’t expect them to be perfect.
We can’t expect them to get it right the first time and every time after that.
Ephesians 4:1-3 "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Notice what it says in these verses from Ephesians 4:
“Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.” We are called to parent the kid's God has placed in our care!
“Forbearing one another in love.” We are to be patient with them in LOVE!
“Endeavouring to keep unity of the Spirit.” We are to strive for unity in our homes with our kids!
What a difference this would make for all of us as parents, for all children, and for our society in general if we could all just strive to live like this!
