Life can be confusing. Sometimes things happen in life and we do not understand them. Sometimes we try to rely on our own understanding about things we don’t understand and it just leaves us without an understanding!
Confusing I know, but you know what I mean!
In Proverbs 3:5 it says “and lean not unto thine own understanding."
What does understanding mean here?
It is relying on your thoughts about your situation.
It is relying on your solutions or the way you think things should be.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts but He is our Dad and we just need to trust Him and lean on His understanding!
